There are loads of these purple flowers all over our garden and have been for a number of years. But they're the devils own job to photograph as they sit at the top of really long stems and sway about like crazy on even the calmest evening.
Nevertheless, there was a very calm evening a couple of weeks ago and I made this image, which sacrifices depth of field - and composition, some might say - for clarity.
I'm fairly pleased with it and I like the colours, but it somehow fails to move me. Fundamentally, I'm getting bored with making this sort of image, as I alluded in my previous post.
