Those of you who've been paying attention - and if not, why not? - may remember that, way back in February, I posted some images of Clevedon Pier.
Anyway, I seem to have hit a bit of an impasse with my current crop of images, so I searched back through stuff that I've taken this year and came across this one, which I hadn't processed, due to the presence of some extraneous elements in the frame.
A few minutes spent with GiMP, and here we have it. You may notice that I've gone for a non-standard format, but this image really needed it. The result is probably, of the three that I've posted, closest to the image in my head when I released the shutter.
Also, I do like the Lowry-esque figure near the middle of the frame, I think it's presence adds something.
