More Sony imaging product announcements today, with headlines being grabbed by the A6000. If you've been paying attention - and there's no reason why you should - you'll know that this naming convention signifies an e-mount camera. And so it does, as this model replaces the NEX6 and NEX7. Given the lack of significant technical changes, the cynical amongst us might conclude that this update has been motivated by the desire to remove NEX branded cameras from the range as quickly as possible.
A-mount watchers will also remember that NEX7 launched alongside the Alpha 77, which is the same camera in a DSLT form factor. This time round, an a-mount announcement is notable by its absence, although promised for April.
